Green School Movements

I work in the academic world and it is very recently that I realized that the schools are very important contribution to environmental destruction. For some reason, the school uses a lot of paper and there are very few green policies are implemented. If I am principal for a day, here is what I do with my green dream:

1st I’m going to impose a “clean as you go and isolate (CLAYGOS) Policy.” It is not a new policy as I schools to require their students to see, “clean up as they go.” But what is really lacking is the initiative of the student as a separate waste. I’m with heavy fines on students who will not follow through this policy and would even assign special monitors to take the trash to the waste that is not properly disconnected.

2nd I will encourage my faculty and staff, to define themselves as role models for students. I will ask them to bring their own coffee cups or beverage bottles, so they do not have to bring in water bottles. I’ll ask her paper, by reducing on both sides and with the image of the school copier functionality, they want to reduce the image reproduced in the smallest size possible is recycled, so that more images can fit on one page. You are responsible for separating their garbage and throw even their own little garbage as a sweet wrapper in its place.

3rd I will give to charities all fax machines and switch to online fax service. Fax services online to save money and trees. 4th I’m going to an event that will focus on zero-waste-management, go to students, parents and teachers about the various services for the disposal facilities to educate. I’ve also turned into a fundraising event and funds raised are used to install large windows in our classrooms and schools. It is also hoping to build roofs for office, so that power is maintained.

5th I will encourage our school copiers and copying on both sides of the paper, reducing the cost of paper and be helpful to the environment. I also encourage them to use only post-consumer recycled paper to make sure that the paper they use their own recycling.

6th I will ask students to take home any waste brought into the school. This means that every child in school that all their snack packs, they should bring some garbage at home that are generated from their lunch boxes.

Of course, my dreams are green. For the time, I need to work on my dissertation, that I, the principle that I dream of being.
