Green School Tales

It’s easy to say that you have an obligation to the way you live and how they make themselves to think about the environment. The hardest part is to take action. Can I really make a difference? Where do I start? I decided it’s time for me over. I’m in the middle of my “era of application” and it feels fantastic. I know I can make a difference. Because of the green school, I became much more aware of my actions and their impact on the planet. I feel invigorated and inspired, when another mother told me that I what I did with the Green School is a step in the right direction and should have been more likely to happen. Every day I learn new ways to respect and protect our environment. Lots to do! It will take some time. . . Small steps, right?

My beef is the case. There is a huge amount of waste from disposable plastic sandwich bags in our schools. That is, there are a lot of progress with the boomerang and waste-free lunch programs. It takes some skill to all the little containers in the lunch box, without it exploding to get out of the seams. I just wish I could remember what I all fit on the previous day.

The problem of plastic bags are used to bring money for school programs. Make no mistake, I was in love with a plastic bag in the past. Especially if they came with the small snack size! Then one day it hit me that I put my loons in a bag of pizza for the day. I started on the impact of 600 + students in our school makes money in a plastic bag for single use. Each of these pockets would directly into the trash at school and ends up in landfill. The use of envelopes, even though recycling means more pressure on our forests. I certainly can not give the mother alone in thinking there be a better way. Why did not anyone do something about it?

A bit of personal research has shown that there really is not much out there for this purpose which is both environmentally friendly and practical. I’m all about the practice. Anyway, I think it was a call to action for me. Now I’m tuned to intensify, and take the initiative.
